As individuals are singled out and become isolated, the DS pair up those who are suspicious of each other in a forward abseil off the top of a waterfall, where the life of the jumper is the hands of the recruit holding the rope at the bottom. A fraught river-crossing exercise causes divisions, then - as relationships start to buckle - the directing staff apply further pressure by asking the group to identify its least trustworthy members. Ant and his team test the 12 remaining recruits by sowing distrust in the group and watching how it plays out.

This ep isode focuses on trust, a matter of life or death in the Special Forces.

The brutal first two stages tested the recruits' volatility and aggression, and more than half of the recruits have already withdrawn or been thrown off the course.

The hit series returns, with Chief Instructor Ant and his elite team of directing staff taking 25 new recruits deep into the Amazonian rainforest to take part in a unique version of the jungle phase of SAS Selection.
